Yellow & Red w/hints of orange

I think I've setttled on the idea that I want my color combination to be some shade of yellow and a deep warm shade of red. I was looking in a bridal magazine and saw a picture with yellow and red with orange too, so that might look pretty also. Here are some pictures of these colors that I could find....

RANDOM ideas I've been playing with

Wedding
Ideas from my Word notebook

The reception space
was lit in red and gold, with a gobo light showing Nneka and
Henriot’s names and the wedding date projected onto the dance
floor. “Lighting was definitely one thing that made a huge
design impact at a nominal cost,” Nneka explains.

The Fairmont’s

pastry chef made the couple’s cake, which was covered in ivory
fondant that matched the pattern found on Nicole’s gown.

A bundle of roses
and a burnt orange sash was added to the first chair of every third
row.

Central dance floor
lined by guest tables.

*My favorite rings
are the ones with 3 center stones, channel setting, and/or princess
cut (primary favorite) or round cut (secondary favorite)!

Starting now...

So, I have a wedding ideas "notebook", but really its just a word document where I copied down images and jotted down thoughts and ideas that came to me. I figure blogging would be an easier and hassle free way of keeping track of planning a wedding.

I have absolutely no idea where to start. Ever since Kailan told me to start planning a little, my mind has gone blank. Hopefully my little corner of the internet here will get my creative juices flowing. Here goes nothing!!
